Despite earlier indications, the latest word is that there will be no fall edition of the Los Angeles Dodgers Adult Baseball Camp either back in Vero Beach or at Camelback Ranch. We have recently heard that plans are in the works for Camelback Ranch in the Spring 2011 session but there have been no details released.

Veteran campers from across the country have expressed sadness in the fact that we will not be returning to Vero as we have for over 25 years. Likewise they have expressed concern about the continuation of the tradition in Arizona. We have also heard that many of those campers have written to the Dodgers expressing that concern. We only hope that these images will not become, only images of the Dodgers' storied past.

DTW grew out of this camp tradition, as did for that matter MSBL. We have been told that the Dodgers know what this tradition means to us and that they intend for it to continue. We will keep you informed about any developments as we hear about them.
