As many of our members know, DTW brother David Estabrook has been having health problems.  He suffers from an extremely rare genetic problem which sevely effects the heart.  It's called BAG3 Cardiomyopathy.  Unfortunately , it's not rare in his family. They lost their little sister Kelly, a brother Ron and two young cousins.  This disease has nothing to do with lifestyle, but rather is passed down generationally with a 50% chance of being unlucky. 

Recently David was fortunate to be a viable candidate and to receive a heart transplant.  He is home from Cedars now and getting stronger each day.  He says he feels great most days and is walking (Dr’s orders) 20 minutes a day x 3. His wife, brother, sister and neighbors are there for him to draw from to walk since he's not suppose to walk alone just yet.

But now he needs some more help from his greater family, his DTW brothers.  As you can imagine, the medical bills are massive, enough to choke a heard of cattle.  David's brother Keith has established a GoFundMe accouint to assist David.  If you can, help him out and donate.  Click here to get to the account and thanks.
